Imagine you want to see a lion 15 years from now....and the only place you can see one is in a museum, in a movie or Google Images. Horrible thought?
The existence of African Lions is seriously threatened. The biggest threat is humans. Certain Neanderthals still believe that it is awesome to have a stuffed lion head above your fireplace. Apart from the obvious devastating loss of one of the most majestic animal species on this planet, killing off our lions has massive ramifications on the eco-system as well as the tourism industry of Africa and in particular South Africa.
